What do you prefer just a buffet with plain food at an event? Or the choice of fruit carvings&vege bouquets?

I am working on starting a Catering Business but not just food as there are a lot of caterers supplying food already? I want to bring alive a normal buffet to amaze guest and make your event extra special with fruit carvings, vegetable bouquets and centerpieces, fruit stations for health conscious and fruit lovers and cheese stations for cheese lovers, five star cocktail party foods and five star quality boxed lunches for corporate meeting breaks etc. Do you think there is a need for such services in a place like Trinidad?

That would certainly be a niche market and I would suggest you see if you can get an upmarket hotel or restaurant to sponsor you or to “display” your work as decoration.

Because of the work involved, and the freshness aspect, I don’t think you could truly justify the cost.
If you do get a Catering Contracts you could offer them at an extra costs.

Make a well prepared photo resume, like a top model does, of quality pics of your products.

I have never been to Trinidad, but that doesn’t matter as I know it is a top tourist destination, as such there would be plenty of tourist who would say “Gosh that’s nice” as they fill their plates in some restaurants buffet.

I would suggest you begin with the plain buffets to begin with in your own premises to begin with, and perhaps feature a “Display of the Day”.
