If your family cooks, they won’t be able to attend the ceremony or enjoy the reception because they will be chained to the kitchen all day/night. Your best bet is to call up Boston Market if there is one in your area or your favorite ethnic restaurant and ask if they do catering. Both options provide a full hot meal at a fraction of the price that a wedding Caterer charges (and you get stuff thrown in that the wedding Caterer will nickel and dime you for) and your family can enjoy the wedding instead of having to work.
