what do you think about using paper/plastic plates for the cake?
The location or catering does not provide china and she suggested using paper or plastic. I think it is tacky, but my FH thinks it is fine since our reception is a garden setting.
Depending on where you live, it might actually be cheaper to rent plates than to purchase nice paper/plastic plates.
